


Memry A. Dahl is Unangan (Aleut) born and raised in Sand Point, Alaska. In 2005, Memry joined First Alaskans Institute first as a Projects Manager for the Alaska Native Policy Center and currently as the Programs and Human Resources Director. She is an alumnus of UAA elementary education program and completed the Foraker Non-profit Management course. She also received her Professional in Human Resources in 2008 from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Memry is a former teacher in the Anchorage School District, president of the Aleutians East Borough School District, assembly member of the Aleutians East Borough, city council member for the City of Sand Point, member of Kappa Delta Pi, Alaska Native Professional Association, as well as the past chairperson for the Native Education Advisory Committee for Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc.
Currently, Memry serves on the University of Alaska College of Education advisory board and Aleut Management Services board.

Mr. Johnson was named Chief Executive Officer of The Aleut Corporation in April 2007, at which time he relocated from Oahu, Hawaii to Anchorage, Alaska. As CEO, he also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Aleut Management Services, LLC. Mr. Johnson has 20 years' experience in the engineering and contracting services industry and holds a bachelors of science in engineering. He is an avid student of ethical leadership, management, and business studies. Mr. Johnson’s leadership is focused on integrating and influencing diverse business cultures and to align and organize them for sustainable growth and profitability.
Mr. Johnson's has worked on projects around the world, but lived mainly in California, Alaska and Hawaii. In these locations he engages native peoples routinely as customers, partners, and employees. This experience has taught him to enjoy the unique sets of challenges and rewards and to appreciate native cultures, including his own. As an Alaskan Native Corporation shareholder and Aleut himself, Troy truly values the opportunity to contribute his talents toward increasing shareholder value and strives to enhance the pride native people feel for their regional corporation.
The Aleut Corporation is one of the thirteen Regional Native Corporations that were established in 1972 under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Operations of The Aleut Corporation and its subsidiaries include Government Contracting, Fuel Sales, Telecommunications, Environmental Remediation, and Real Estate Management. The Company also participates in various partnerships, joint ventures, and other business activities.
Morris Shepherd is currently a financial consultant and certified public accountant with a career spanning over 35 years in Alaska. In recent years, he held the position of financial vice president and board member for Reeve Aleutian Airways, serving the communities of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. Mr. Shepherd’s experience with Alaska Native Corporations goes back to the early days of ANCSA, where as a CPA with a national accounting firm, he served as a member of the financial audit team for a number of Alaska Native Corporations and later as a tax manager handling ANCSA issues with the IRS.
Mr. Shepherd holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Washington and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Vietnam war veteran, having served as a U.S. Navy Supply Officer. He has served on a variety of public service boards including as chairman and treasurer of the Alaska Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and board member and treasurer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Alaska.


Major General (Ret.) Jacob "Jake" Lestenkof has been a member of the AMS Board since 2005 and serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board. In addition to his military service, Jake served as Alaska's Adjutant General and as Commissioner of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs for four years. Mr. Lestenkof has served as the Federal Regional Director of the Bureau of Indian Affairs for Alaska. He also served as the Deputy Commissioner of Alaska's Department of Regional and Community Affairs. He is a retired member of the Federal Senior Executive Service.
He resides in Anchorage, Alaska with his wife, Sherry Valentine.

Joe Kashevarof currently owns Financial Alaska Accounting, LLC, which provides accounting services for rural and Alaska Native organizations throughout the State of Alaska.
Prior to Financial Alaska Accounting, Joe was employed as an accounting manager at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC). He graduated from the University of Alaska-Anchorage with a degree in Accounting. Joe also served as a board member of The Aleut Corporation and his local village corporation.
Joe Kashevarof is from St. George Island, Alaska. His parents, Andronik Jr. and Sharon Kashevarof, also were born and raised on St. George. He currently lives in Anchorage with his wife Shannon and their two children.
