The following are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the contract transition.
Q: What kind of wages and benefits can I expect on this job?
A: Our company policy is to offer competitive wages and benefits to attract and retain quality employees. We follow the Federal SCA wage and salary guidelines for all non-management and non-CBA job categories, which set the baseline rates for all government contractors and vary from region to region. We will honor the existing CBA in our bridge agreement and will use it as a basis to build our new CBA.
Q: Does work on this contract require a security clearance?
A: No. However, all of our employees employed on this contract will abide by all Fort Leonard Wood security regulations and access requirements. We will pre-screen all employees for suitability using the same standards as the Government. We will submit all employees for background investigation checks.
Q: Where can I submit a resume and complete an application to work on this contract?
A: Follow the Careers link on this website to see Employment Opportunities, and submit your resume and application.
Q: What format does my resume have to be in order to upload it?
A: Like many industry sites, our company's website imports resumes into a standard text format. This means that elaborate format and font styles are not going to get captured. It would be best to make a plain text version of your resume using a standard font; without tabs, indentations, or bullets. Use that plain version for online submissions [there are many sites that do this]. Note that we have no page limit, so using a standard font causes no problems.
Q: When can I expect to be contacted about a position?
A: Our Human Resources (HR) office will contact you if your application is a match for an open position. If your application does not match our open positions, it will stay active in our resume data base for a period of 60 days.
